Dr. Willie Moody, MPH, MTS, CPRP, Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Willie Moody, Jr. was born and raised in urban Newark, New Jersey. He has an extensive history in human services and ministry.  Dr. Moody matriculated at the very prestigious Fisk University of Nashville, Tennessee, a historically black college, where he obtained the Bachelors of Arts Degree.  He then matriculated at the Meharry Medical College of Nashville, Tennessee, where he obtained the Masters of Public Health Degree. Rev. Moody received his “call” to the ministry while Investigating the Spiritual Dimension in Substance Abuse Treatment, for his Thesis preparation.  He later pursued higher educational studies at the Drew University Theological Seminary of Madison, NJ, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and obtained the Masters Degree in Theological Studies.

In 2006 he received his certification as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner from the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.  Dr. Moody became a licensed minister in 2007 and was later ordained in 2009.   Dr. Moody founded the Chosen Generation Community Corporation (a 501c3 non-profit), in 2012. CGCC was designed to provide spiritual direction and a comprehensive counseling milieu, with an emphasis on the ‘spiritual dimension.’  Rev. Dr. Moody is certified in Conflict Resolution & Mediation. Dr. Moody currently serves at The House of God.

Dr. Moody obtained the Doctorate of Ministry Degree in May 2015 at Drew University Theological Seminary. His Dissertation: Exploring Those Indispensible Factors In living An Effective Christian Life.  For this project Dr. Moody created a Discipleship Model designed to promote healthy spiritual formation which should augment consistent church growth in a time when many churches are experiencing decline.  Dr. Moody believes the church must focus on five strategic areas to empower the needs of the Body of Christ:  Worship, Ministry, Evangelism, Discipleship and Fellowship.  The challenge for the 21st Century church is to employ God-inspired, innovative strategies that present the gospel without compromising biblical principles and foundational truths.

Dr. Moody is a motivational speaker, conference host, seminar facilitator, licensed counselor and group therapist.  Dr. Moody is a published author.  His book entitled, Tier 1:  Discovering Self, ‘New Wine, Old Skins’ was released in November 2017 by Next level Publishing Company, Laurel, Maryland.
